Madpot Creative, led by Bianca Ferrer and Luke McKibben, is an agile strategy and production house specializing in event and film experiences. Their comprehensive suite of services includes creative direction, strategy, media production, filmmaking, and event planning. When Bianca and Luke approached me for my services, they were on a mission to relaunch their studio, formerly known as B & L Creative Group. They sought a refreshed brand identity, a beautiful and user-friendly website, and a strategic roadmap for navigating their competitive landscape.
We began the process with a strategy session and conducted a competitive analysis to refine madpot's values, messaging, and brand characteristics. Bianca and Luke's vision for madpot—to create memorable experiences through film and events—inspired every decision we made. Their rich background in filmmaking and event planning, combined with their commitment to hands-on involvement and meticulous oversight, ensured that creativity remained at the forefront of everything we did.
Eager to reflect the essence of their artistic elevation and comprehensive services, we embarked on crafting a brand identity that was vibrant, unexpected, and unmistakably madpot. From selecting a clear yet personality-filled typeface for the logomark to curating a bold color palette, every element was meticulously designed to communicate their story. To add an additional design element, we created geometric icons to represent each of their service offerings. We also included a grainy gradient element to add depth and personality across their assets.
With the brand identity in place, our focus shifted to the website—a showcase of madpot's best work. From their impressive roster of clients, including Spotify, Heineken, and HP, to their array of services spanning creative direction, media production, and event planning, the website was designed to captivate and inform. We incorporated a user-friendly CMS for effortless project updates and blog posts and integrated subtle animations to infuse personality, all while ensuring a seamless user experience. Beyond the website, we extended our collaboration to create proposal designs, deck designs, and social media templates, ensuring a cohesive brand presence across platforms before the launch of their refreshed brand.
